Welcome to the
Hillsborough Sportfishing Club
The Hillsborough Sportfishing Club (HSFC) consists of a diverse group of men, women, young adults, and kids who share the adventure of sportfishing. More than that, we like to help people learn how to fish and enjoy the sport at a reasonable cost. We do this through education, fishing trips, and partnering with private business and non-profit organizations to sponsor fundraising events for charitable organizations. We have fun doing what we do please come join us.

The 2017 NC Offshore Challenge Tournament will be held Friday, May 19th through Sunday, May 21st. We will run the tournament out of Atlantic Beach and Hatteras. Our goal for 2017 is to put 200 disabled veterans and sons and daughters of fallen soldiers on the water and to raise money for their needs. It will cost about $900 to take a veteran fishing…he or she will travel and stay on the Outer Banks or Crystal Coast for two nights. We will get them out fishing - inshore or offshore - and provide all their meals. Please contact us if you can support this long-standing tournament. Details are provided on the tournament page of our website.
The Club is organizing an offshore fishing trip from Hatteras on Saturday, Oct. 22. This is a good time of year to catch some nice wahoo, tuna, and sail fish. Please contact Terry Rose for information about the trip and to arrange for a boat. Terry’s number is (919) 667-3508; email is email@example.com.
